Whether you want to improve your posture, reduce back pain, or simply minimize your daily stress load, the Teeter Hang Ups EP-950 inversion therapy table makes a terrific choice. Inversion therapy works by placing your body in line with the downward force of gravity. In the process, inversion elongates the spine, increases the space between the vertebrae, and relieves the pressure on discs, ligaments, and nerve roots. And less pressure means less back pain, as well as fewer headaches and neck problems. Inversion is ideal for people with persistent spine and muscle aches, in addition to athletes who frequently push their bodies out of whack through repetitive muscle motions, such as runners, weightlifters, skiers, cyclists, and golfers. Studies suggest that inverting yourself a mere 25 degrees for even a few minutes per day can have tremendous positive effects.

Inversion therapy helps you improve your posture and reduce back pain.
Never before has an inversion table worked with your body the way an EP series inversion table does. The EP-950--Teeter's top-of-the-line EP inversion table--uses Teeter's patented Flex Technology design to move as you move. By working with your body instead of against it, the table accommodates a greater range of motion than other tables, promoting realignment of the spine and relaxing your muscles. The EP-950 then adds an optimal surface for decompression, with a smooth, light-friction texture that allows the body to slide and achieve a premium stretch. Plus, engineering tests have shown that Teeter inversion tables are the most precisely balanced tables on the market. This allows users to control the lockout more confidently in full inversion.

In addition to its EP-standard features, the EP-950 offers a number of upgrades over other Teeter EP tables. The table's ratchet ankle lock system, for instance, offers an easy-to-reach solution in addition to a triple-lock security feature. The table also includes EZ Stretch handles to help increase traction and enhance your stretching experience. To make your inversion more efficient, the table's EZ Angle tether strap lets you preset your rotation angles at 20, 40, or 60 degrees. This provides an easy guide to where the benefits of inversion begin and are fully realized. Finally, the table includes a new Ankle Comfort Dial that adjusts for smaller or larger feet, allowing you to find a comfortable and secure fit for your ankle clamps.

The table's Flex Technology move as you move to further relax your muscles.
Other details include a robust base with A-frame tubing and corner feet; auto-locking hinges, cam locks, and heat-treated steel parts; a de-rattler knob and specialized pivot bearings that ensure a lifetime of squeak- and rattle-free rotation; a scratch-resistant powder coating and a triple-plated chrome finish; and a plastic injection-molded construction with easy-to-clean surfaces. The table also comes with an Advanced Secrets to a Better Back instructional DVD that includes five 10-to-15-minute exercise and stretching classes. The DVD is hosted by Dr. Shawn, and includes such workouts as Good Morning (wakeup and warm up your spine); Strength & Stretch (build your core muscles); Posture Correction (look better and function better); Gym Ball (specialized core-building class), and Inversion Table (to receive the maximum benefits from your inversion table). The only inversion table on the market that can be modified with accessories, the EP-950 folds in just a few seconds to 28 by 66 by 16 inches (W x H x D) for easy storage.

"Probably THE best inversion table I have owned!" 2010-01-09
By W. Brunner
I had my first L5-S1 back surgery in 1987 after a MVA, a 6.5 hr neck cancer surgery in 1999 and have a fused C5/C6. I've had many spinal problems since and have had constant chiropractic care and massage every year since 1990, costing a small fortune.

I then suffered a severe compression injury at T8-T11 Oct 2008 when I hit a large pothole with a motorcycle. Five MRI's in 09 (grand total of 18!), many DC's, MD's, massage therapists and finally "pain management", plus a desperate visit with a neurosurgeon for one last opinion, he stated there was nothing they could do but medicate, leaving me with very little hope, extremely limited ability to move and living with a great deal of pain. Nothing had helped.

Having had at least two other pre-owned generic inversion tables years ago, and one inversion seat two years ago, none of which I really liked, I saw an ad on TV a week or so ago for the Teeter and decided to give this another try. In the very short time I have used this I have at least some noticeable relief and no difficulty using the machine.

I also use and highly recommend the FANTASTIC, Robert's moist heating pad (never have to add water but you will need to put towels or a very heavy shirt on top due to it's high temp) which covers the table to help loosen the muscles before and during use.

This quality table is extremely well designed and made. I am very pleased with the purchase!

Had I not gotten this unit with the extended release mechanism for the feet, it is quite likely I may not have gotten off the table after the first two uses as I could barely stand up and certainly could not bend over whatsoever. I also could not have done without the extended hand rails.

I have so much pain (I had a severe reaction to the Magnevist dye used for an MRI in Jan 06 which has locked up my spine and joints since), I very slowly first lower my butt down on the table after a session, slide out one foot and unlock the foot release, very slowly get off the machine and then stretch bending forward for a few minutes. I've only used a minimal degree of inversion, but this table has been great. The $3.99 over night shipping with Amazon Prime was superb.

It has been the ONLY means of dealing with my spinal injuries that has allowed me movement the past couple of days and I now have some hope for recovery and betting back to riding our Gold Wing.

If you have any doubt as to which table model may be right for you, I highly suggest called the Teeter factory before you purchase.

"Ankle pain, but love the table!" 2010-01-09
By woodsie8 (Mt Hood, Oregon)
I love the table. Extremely well built. Invert probably 3 times a day, on weekends, and at least one to two times a day, on weekdays. I can't hang for more than a couple of minutes though, due to ankle pain and going numb. I am trying different boots, socks, etc. Hoping to find the solution. I am determined because I love how good it feels to invert. I am sure, after a while, my back will be much better. I am doing crunches, and feel like they are easier than doing them on the floor.

"Cheaper and as effective as the Chiropractor" 2010-01-01
By DA
I was skeptical at first but after YEARS of chiropractors and other failed therapies to help the lingering problems of a very severe whiplash I decided to give it a try. VERY GLAD I purchased this Teeter. The first few times it was a bit painful as the muscles, discs, etc. moved back in to alignment. Using the Teeter has improved my quality of life tremendously particularly in relieving the muscle tension headaches I had been suffering.

I chose this particular model because of the handles and the easy release handle for the feet. Because I have experienced a bit of ankle discomfort I recently ordered the gravity boots and will be trying those out in the next day or two.

Overall I am very happy with the quality and the benefits of this great machine!!

"Well-built and useful device" 2009-12-24
By A. Basu (Texas, USA)
Although the assembly is non-trivial, this is a great product. I use it daily, and have found it to be refreshing and helpful. The ability to use partial inversion is great, at least initially.

"It works..." 2009-12-15

I've had it for 5 weeks and am very happy with my purchase. Long term pain is steadily decreasing!!
