Amazon.com Product Description
Whether you want to reduce back stress or fatigue or stimulate your blood circulation, the Ironman Gravity 1000 inversion table makes a great household accessory. The inversion table contributes to your body's overall health by optimizing lumbar traction, thereby relieving pressure on your vertebrae discs and ligaments. And when your back starts to relax, the rest of your body follows. The table can also help with such areas as increasing body flexibility for improved athletic performance, reducing the effects of aging due to gravity, and relieving lower backaches due to sitting or standing.
The Gravity 1000 boasts a durable tubular steel frame with a scratch-resistant powder-coated finish. The backrest, meanwhile, is made of a tough nylon material that's extremely durable yet still comfortable when the table is in use. Most importantly, the inversion system is a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the nylon backrest and slip your feet into the ergonomically molded ankle cushions, simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body gradually inverts up to 90 degrees. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself.
Users will also appreciate the tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers, which keep the table stable while you invert, and the extra-long safety handles, which provide an easy return to an upright position. Other details include a height-adjustable frame up to 6 feet 6 inches; support for up to 300 pounds; vinyl safety side covers to protect hands and fingers; and a durable spring-loaded ankle locking system. The Gravity 1000, which folds into a compact footprint for easy storage, measures 25 by 62 by 49 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 46 pounds.

This is the first review I've done on Amazon to my recollection. This has been the best product I've ever used. I'm a healthy 36 year old but for years I struggled with upper neck pain near the base of the skull when I wake up. I like to sleep without a pillow; it's basically the only way I can sleep. But I've tried to switch from soft pillows to firm pillows and I never had much luck and usually woke up in pain. I got immediate results using this inversion table. I can sleep anyway I want now and wake up with NO PAIN AT ALL and my liver loves me now because I put the tylenol bottle away for good. There are a few drawbacks but it's for an inversion table itself and not for this one in particular. Expect a blood rush to the head, maybe a little feeling of pressure even in your lips and eyes on ocassion. I usually use it just a few minutes a day and am not bothered by that. The ankles holders can be uncomfortable. I found it best if I didn't wear any shoes or long pants as the rubber seems to snug better against skin. As a buyer I usually discount reviews unless they have some negative aspect in the review but there isn't much not to like a about this product and I have a new pain free lease on life with daily usuage. If I go a few days without using this the pain returns so I use it daily to decompress my spine. Enjoy it, it's well worth $120 esp with free shipping.

This inversion table was fairly easy to set up. I was initially alarmed by the number of parts, but it went together easily and the instructions for set-up were clear and easy to follow. Ankle cusions are comfortable. Easy to tilt and right yourself. If I could add one thing it would be a locking mechanism to lock it at the full vertical position so I could move around more without making it swing.

Got this early December, as a gift to my aging father; he started to have back pain on and off during the past year or so. He felt instant relief after he used this table, and have been using it every day for the past month. It was nice that it has the belt which limits the angel the table can tilt; there is no way my dad can tilt 90 degrees with his age, he only does about 30 degree. Maybe more in time.

The ironman gravity table arrived quickly and is everything it promised! Wonderful relief from tight, aching lowback muscles in only a few minutes. The structure is well built and very sturdy.

I was very impressed by this product. I didn't really expect it to be so solid and easy to put together. The instructions were clear and it only took about 45 minutes to assemble. For a $125.00 and no shipping you can't beat it. I've used it several times and it glides back very smoothly and feels very sturdy. The ankle clamps hold firmly and are comfortable considering you are hanging from your ankles with all your weight. I guess the more you weigh the more uncomfortable that could be. I have injuries to both my arms and have already noticed an improvement because I can stretch them further and easier upside down using gravity in ways I can not do upright. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend buying this inversion table.
